Kim was raised with 7 other siblings in Phnom Penh. After graduating high school in 2019 she served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Kim is a positive person ambitious about improving the world around her. She loves learning about culture, language, and various traditions people practice. She seeks to set an example for the younger generation that can help them achieve excellence. She is also a great cook and is always looking for ways to help bring nutritional solutions to those living in extreme poverty. Kim is passionate about serving others and teaching them how to provide for their needs in a sustainable way.

Kim is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree with BYU-Pathways. She enjoys traveling, cycling, exercising, and taking on new adventures.
