Help children and villages create stronger futures through sustainable education, health, and economic opportunity.

Become More did not start with a fundraising campaign or a marketing plan. It started with a researcher walking through devastated Cambodian villages trying to understand why people make dangerous economic decisions when they have no other options.
Dr. Wade Roberts spent years in rural Cambodia studying the landmine crisis, documenting how poverty and limited economic alternatives drove boys to enter minefields to collect scrap metal for a few dollars. His research was among the first to demonstrate empirically that global commodity prices were directly influencing landmine-related deaths at the village level.
That insight, that people do not need to be rescued, they need better options, became the philosophical foundation of everything Become More does today.
Dr. Wade C. Roberts is the founder of Become More and the author of Landmines in Cambodia: Past, Present, and Future. His academic work on the economic and behavioral dimensions of humanitarian crises continues to inform the organization's approach to village-level development.
Each program is designed to work on its own and amplify the others.
Together they create an economic ecosystem that gives entire villages a path forward.
Become More is committed to sustainable, intentional growth. Every expansion of the
program is done carefully, ensuring that every child receives the personalized connection
and care they deserve.
The vision is simple: villages that no longer need outside intervention because they have the education, the health infrastructure, the economic opportunity, and the community strength to sustain themselves. That is what becoming more looks like.
The most direct way to create lasting change is a student
sponsorship. $73 a month. One real child. A relationship that will
change both of you all the way through high school.
